Baroque poets would have pure joy in these verses and would all write sonnets 'auff die Heuserin'. Because today - between Scylla and Charybdis - she is clearly their hope. The era of the silent film is over, the era of the sound film has not yet dawned. And only a few people know about the stuff poems are made of: the rhythmically pulsating sound that clusters into the picture within a strictly limited period of time. Andrea Heuser creates poetry in the truest sense of the word, because her poems are more made than written. By repeatedly striking individual syllables, she creates those vibrating particles that, when put together in a meaningful way, result in an artifact that can be perceived by the senses. (Because the poëterey, according to Philipp Harsdörffer, is called a speaking consort / the consort is called a mute poëterey.) In this way, the range that remains for the sounding word before it dies away is exhausted to the utmost and masterfully designed. (Alexander Nitzberg)
